Temple of the Deep: Burning Man 2025’s Temple Inspired by Ancient Volcanic Rocks

Burning Man has recently unveiled the design for its new temple, “Temple of the Deep,” created by Spanish architect Miguel Arraiz. Standing approximately 13.4 meters tall and spanning a diameter of around 32 meters , the temple draws inspiration from the ancient volcanic rocks of the surrounding Black Rock Desert landscape. The design merges natural and futuristic elements to create a space for communal reflection and healing . The temple symbolizes strength and fragility , exploring themes of light and darkness , the personal and the collective, and the importance of honoring our life journeys. During the festival, participants will have the opportunity to experience this stunning structure, offering a sanctuary for contemplation and connection. The Burning Man Project is currently facing significant financial challenges in preparing for this year’s festival.  Following weaker ticket sales for the 2024 event, the organization launched a fundraising campaign with a goal of ra...

A Night at Exit 2024: From the Perspective of a Clubber/Journalist

Written by: Saranda Vraniqi Exit , now world-renowned, held its 24th festival this year.   This article won't cover who performed or how many awards the festival has garnered so far. You can find all that on Exit's official website.  Instead, I'll try to paint a picture of one evening/night at the festival from my perspective —how the eyes, soul, and other senses of a long-time clubber (and journalist) experienced one of my favorite festivals. To better understand why you might consider my opinion on the festival, I'll share a bit about myself. I'm 45 years old and have been a clubber since I was two. It sounds surreal, but it's my truth . My love for music and dancing started on my dad's lap as he bounced me to the rhythm of the music. My dad, who deserves his own novel (which I won't write now), took me with him to discos and cafes like a little sidekick. By the age of four, people recognized me on the street as the "little girl from the disco....

Den Atelier has confirmed that the English rave band, The Prodigy, is set to ignite the stage at Rockhal in Luxembourg, on November 28, 2023.  This news follows their last electrifying performance in Luxembourg back in 2018. For over three decades, The Prodigy has carved a unique path through the electronic dance music landscape.  While many electronic artists often adopt an image-unconscious approach, The Prodigy stood out by placing frontmen Keith Flint and Maxim Reality at the forefront.  Their incendiary live performances recreated the original spirit of the British rave scene, blending elements of arena rock showmanship and punk theatrics. Behind the scenes, it was producer Liam Howlett's studio wizardry that propelled The Prodigy to chart-topping success during the late '90s electronica boom. Howlett crafted a sonic tapestry of hard-hitting breakbeat techno , interwoven with colossal hooks and unforgettable samples. Their performance promises an unparallele...

In Croatia, the easing of epidemiological measures has been announced

"We have always paid attention to the balance between the economy, social life and epidemiological measures that allow the epidemic to be kept under control as much as possible. All that remains are a few measures. What we can do is increase the number of people at gatherings. indoor) or 100 (in the open), we will now increase it to 100 or 200, and with COVID certificates the number will be unlimited, but everyone should adhere to epidemiological measures, "said the director of the CNIPH Krunoslav Capak. There will be a parade through Berlin that presents a diverse variety of electronic music. What is changing is, for example, the name. The new parade is called "Rave The Planet Parade" . This takes over the original vision of the Love Parade, that one da...
