A study explores whether Croatia should implement public drug-checking services at festivals. The Loop Drug-checking services are increasingly being introduced at electronic music festivals worldwide, including in countries like the UK, France, Australia, and New Zealand. Closer to home, Slovenia has already adopted drug checking.  It’s important to note that drug checking is not the same as drug testing —it does not test for the presence of substances in a person’s body, nor does it focus on criminal prosecution. Last year’s first edition of the Scottish festival Terminal V created a big buzz among fans and media alike. The magazine about the electronic music scene , DJ MAG , published the annual top list of the best festivals as chosen by their readers. The best festival according to DJ Mag in 2024 is Tomorrowland . The Belgian festival thus secured the title of the best for the third year in a row and for the fourth time in history, since DJ Mag has been awarding the best festivals.  The American festival EDC Last Vegas is in second place, and the new mega festival located in Transylvania, Romania's Untold is in third place. Kalkbrenner is a pioneer of the German techno scene and a real superstar with millions of fans, all thanks to his 8 albums, performances at the most important world festivals, the cult film "Berlin Calling" in which he starred and for which he also signed the soundtrack.  He grew up in the golden age of techno , and his name became synonymous with dance music.
