A new documentary film about the life and career of Carl Craig , a Detroit DJ, producer, and label owner , has been released.  The film, "DESIRE: The Story of Carl Craig," premiered last year at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York . It is described as an "intimate portrait" of the legendary techno DJ and also as a "tribute to his beloved city, Detroit." The film's teaser gives a glimpse into the full 90-minute documentary , which features Moodymann, Laurent Garnier, Roni Size, Gilles Peterson, and many others. "DESIRE" will be released by Sovereign Films in the United Kingdom and Ireland on May 8 , after its premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival next month.
