During a panel at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on Thursday, October 17, SoundCloud representatives revealed that electronic music listeners are the most active users of the platform. According to the data presented, electronic music fans are: 52% more likely to comment on posts, 104% more likely to share music, 85% more likely to repost content. Geographically, the largest number of electronic music fans are in Belgium, Austria, and Germany, while Central and Northern Europe has the most engaged users. Interestingly, Vietnam ranks third in terms of the number of electronic music listeners on the platform. Electronic musi c is predicted to become the most popular genre on SoundCloud in 2024, accounting for nearly 22% of all streams, a 6% increase compared to 2022.
