Berlin's Berghain to host first techno party since March

Berghain club will host a techno party on Saturday and Sunday - but it will look different than in pre-pandemic times. Let's say we started to create new world ;)  “Club won’t be opening its oft-dubbed “hardest door in the world” - named for its notoriously picky bouncer - but holding the event outside, and with face masks.” says thelocal.de. Starting from 4 pm on Saturday , clubbers will be welcome in Berghain’s summer garden.  “After a long break, we will dare to start the summer slowly,” organisers wrote on the club’s homepage.  Like the entire Berlin club scene, Berghain has been closed since March 14th, and a reopening of the clubs themselves is not in sight due to the pandemic.  Berghain , however, has found other ways to stay in business, such as hosting an unusual acoustic sound exhibition which stretches through the end of this weekend.  For the garden party - which will take place with a limited number of guests and only in good weather - the Berghain has planned hygi

German express train converted to Techno Rave Train

The electronic music from the clubs went much further and opened up some new perspectives. In Germany , this has long been an important part of the culture , with the Nuremberg team turning one high-speed train into its own Techno Rave Train.  The Techno Rave Train  is a 10-wagon composition set off from Nuremberg in March 2019.  The two wagons were dancefloors and chill out, and the rest was for non-smokers who had a solid sound system.

French government proposes new 'anti-rave' law

The Senate has formally proposed a new law that will interfere with the survival of the scene in that country. The law provides that every organizer must adapt to the new "precautions" that require him to meet with the mayor at least one month before the event. They are also seeking a reduction in volume and noise parameters, new administrative deadlines and other difficult criteria to apply. This law is reminiscent of the UK law of the 90s which was then in force at illegal parties. Currently, the problem is to get all the permits and authorizations, but with the new law it will be almost impossible for one average young organizer to embark on such obligations. Penalties for breaching the law are £ 3750 and / or seizing equipment that is expensive. They believe that the law will contribute to the overall better lifestyle of the stat. Club owners, organizers and promoters complain that no one involves them in the discussions and issues that affect them, s

Eelke Kleijn @ Full House Club, Prishtina, Kosovo

Eelke is not my sound, but I had fun!  Eelke Kleijn was supposed to fly in on April 17 th , but that party didn’t happen that night (because of all the flights being postponed due to the volcano ash cloud, remember that…), nor did it happen in the announced location. It all happened on May 7 th , 2010 at the just opened club, that has a massive sound system, “the new player in town” FULL HOUSE – and as the name of the club indicates, it was full that night. You can see photos  HERE. Eelke is not my sound, but i had fun!
