EXIT 2023: Focus on Mental Health and Ecology

EXIT Festival 2023 shines a light on vital issues, promoting mental health and ecological consciousness. With a mission to create a better world together, the festival organized multiple opening ceremonies focused on spreading messages of peace and love.  Throughout the event, festival-goers experienced designated phone-free zones, recycling initiatives, and inspiring messages highlighting mental well-being.  In a powerful move, EXIT Foundation launched the "Life Is Live" campaign, raising awareness about the importance of young people's mental health and addressing digital addiction.  The festival's eco-conscious e fforts included large-scale recycling campaigns, collecting three times more packaging than in previous years. EXIT Festival Partners with NFT-TiX for Multi-Year Collaboration

After receiving an award for Best Innovation at the U.K Festival Awards, EXIT has entered into a multi-year collaboration with ticketing platform NFT-TiX for its upcoming festivals and events. Research Shows: EXIT is Europe’s 2nd best value festival

UK platform Savoo conducted research to answer the question of which festivals offer the best value for money. Out of the 12 most popular European festivals, EXIT came in second place. Exit Dance Arena in Belgrade: 5000 people danced to Hot Since 82

Belgrade was conquered by the EXIT Dance Arena event, which officially launched EXIT's festival season.  The main Hangar of the Port of Belgrade was packed with more than 5,000 people who danced to the sophisticated tech house sound of Hot Since 82.  The event was a perfect prelude to one of the strongest editions of mts Dance Arena, featuring renowned artists such as Eric Prydz, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Keinemusik, Michael Bibi, CamelPhat, and many others.  The evening was opened by last year's Let's Mix It competition winner Dakman, and the music project IDQ performed their hybrid DJ set, premiering unreleased tracks from their long-awaited album "Borderline."  The EXIT Dance Arena event in Belgrade was a massive success, and the upcoming mts Dance Arena is set to be one of the most exciting editions yet.  After 18 months of no shows, Paul Kalkbrenner is running hot, releasing ‘Si Soy Fuego’ a brand new single and video fresh off headlining the renowned Exit Festival. Contest for bands: “Play at EXIT”

EXIT Festival and Visa are opening the Play at EXIT competition for the selection of four new author bands or performers who will perform on the Visa Fusion Stage , from July 8 to 11 , as a part of the big celebration of two decades of the Exit Festival in Novi Sad.   Bands and musicians can apply via the app on this link from June 5th to 15th.  After that, the selection team, composed of multi-year EXIT program managers, will select four names. EXIT Festval announce new dates in August 2020

It’s official!  EXIT Festival’s 20th Anniversary edition will take place from 13th to 16th August 2020  After the epidemic ended in most of the countries in the Balkans, the Serbian Prime Minister asked EXIT Festival not to cancel, but instead, take place later i n the summer.  This news shook the music industry last week and provided much-needed hope for the return of live music events.  Now, after additional consultations, the new dates for the 20th birthday of the world renowned Serbian festival are finally set from 13 to 16 August this year!  The Exit team announced that the whole event will be organised in close cooperation with the National Health Coordination team and they will follow all health and government guidelines.  As one of the measures, the festival capacity will be reduced and some of the moats and trenches that host around 40 stages and zones will remain closed.  The ticket sales will restart on June 1st with all details including refund options as well as the updat

That music can indeed help change society is not a new idea for EXIT , the award-winning music festival that started two decades ago as a youth movement for peace and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans.  Twenty years later, EXIT is still a force for change and supports social and environmental issues. The Serbian Government has just adopted EXIT’s Green R:Evolution initiative in which the Festival juggernaut, backed by several local environmental organizations, calls for the mass reforestation that will increase the country’s forest cover by almost 50%. The Serbian Government has begun developing strategic plans for countrywide mass planting actions according to which Serbia's forest cover is expected to increase from the current 28% to at least 40% of the country’s total surface area. EXIT 2.0 starts a new festival era with a grand celebration of its 20th birthday

After this year’s edition of EXIT Festival which was the most successful ever by many standards, next year, from July 9th to 12th, the festival will celebrate its 20th birthday! The home of the festival, the medieval  Petrovaradin Fortress , will be the global music scene’s focus come July, with more than 40 stages and zones hosting some of the biggest music stars of today, as well as several selected EXIT acts from the previous two decades, whose performances have earned them a firm place in the festival’s history.
