EXIT 2023: Focus on Mental Health and Ecology

EXIT Festival 2023 shines a light on vital issues, promoting mental health and ecological consciousness.

With a mission to create a better world together, the festival organized multiple opening ceremonies focused on spreading messages of peace and love.

Throughout the event, festival-goers experienced designated phone-free zones, recycling initiatives, and inspiring messages highlighting mental well-being.

In a powerful move, EXIT Foundation launched the "Life Is Live" campaign, raising awareness about the importance of young people's mental health and addressing digital addiction.

The festival's eco-conscious efforts included large-scale recycling campaigns, collecting three times more packaging than in previous years. Visitors participated in green activities, earning prizes for their responsible waste disposal. In addition to promoting peace and unity, EXIT bestowed every visitor with the title of "peaceful traveler."

Messages emphasizing mental health were displayed across the Petrovaradin Fortress, fostering an environment of tolerance and compassion.

The festival also offered psychological and emotional support through the Cooperation Centre "Srce," conducting 584 interviews and underlining the growing need for such services.

EXIT Festival further showcased the finalists of the HEMI music awards, providing a platform for emerging talents.

The event also celebrated Balkan music through the MOST project, building bridges and connecting cultures.

At the OPENS State of EXIT zone, over 20 civil sector organizations highlighted the significance of mental health, education, environmental protection, and healthy lifestyles.

Stars4Kids, a heartwarming tradition, saw performers donating items for humanitarian purposes, extending their support to those in need.

EXIT 2023's dedication to mental health and ecology sets a commendable example, urging festival-goers to be agents of positive change in the world.
