Documentary: Watch a feature-length documentary about the life of Laurent Garnier

The documentary features interviews with Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Miss Kittin and many other important actors from the electronic scene.  The European public service dedicated to culture ARTE published a feature-length documentary about the life of French DJ Laurent Garnier.  The story of the life, work and actions of the legendary Frenchman is called "Off the Record", was filmed between 2017 and 2019 and was originally released in cinemas in France in 2021, and was directed by Gabin Rivoire.  "Off the Record" in its ninety minutes brings an exclusive interview with Garnier, who reveals details from his childhood, youth, his first musical steps and the experience he gained in his long career.  The story of the legendary DJ is complemented by in-depth interviews with various greats of electronic music such as Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Miss Kittin and others.  You can watch the documentary for free on ARTE's online platform by clicking HERE . Richie Hawtin releases ‘ Time Warps ’, his first dancefloor-centric EP since ‘Minus Orange’, released in 1999.  This is the first release from From Our Minds (FOM1) , a new extension of Hawtin’s Plus 8 label.  In this new release, Hawtin gives us a couple of new club songs, secretly recorded and with a combined duration of more than 30 minutes.  "Time Warps" portrays the blurred and stretched perception of time that has been so characteristic in 2020.
