After receiving an award for Best Innovation at the U.K Festival Awards, EXIT has entered into a multi-year collaboration with ticketing platform NFT-TiX for its upcoming festivals and events. EXIT, a multiple Best European Festival Award winner, became the first major music event in the world to use blockchain technology to sell NFT tickets for an event of this size, enabling the purchase of tickets on a decentralised ticketing platform.  It was this project that won the U.K Festival Innovation Award mentioned earlier and it has now been shortlisted for the DISRUPTOR Award at the Ticketing Business Awards, one of the most prestigious global awards in ticketing business industry.  The collaboration with NFT-TiX will include a series of events organised by the EXIT team, with a special offer for the upcoming EXIT Festival, which will take place from the 6th to the 9th of July 2023 at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.  In addition to NFT tickets, EXIT was the first big festival

The first edition of the TOMORROW conference, the largest European Crypto, NFT and Metaverse event will be held in Belgrade from 13 to 15 May at the Belexpo Center. The genetic code of co19 has been turned into a set of  tracks  that are available for possession as NFT. Behind the project is Viromusic , who created ambient music, created using the "genetic sequence within the Coronavirus". “Using a technique called DNA Sonification, the melody in the songs is entirely derived from a viral sequence. Each note in the melody is part of the step-by-step instructions the virus uses to make multiple copies of itself. ”  They added compilation instruments such as cello and bass to finalize the sound. By the way, so far 10,000 songs have been made that use genetics in a wide range of music genres. The songs are available on the Rarible platform as NFT with a starting price of 0.07 Ethereum , which is somewhere around 249 euros. Ben Klock, Fadi Mohem & Helmut Breineder present CERN , their first audio-visual collaboration, exploring the new possibilities of blockchain technology.  The digital art piece showcases an exclusive 1 minute track by techno artist Ben Klock & rising producer Fadi Mohem , focusing on the classic TR-909 drum machine, the quintessential techno instrument, chopped and bent to sound like a heavy-hitting bouncing ball.  The futuristic music is being fed into Helmut Breineders audio responsive particle system to generate a fluid digital sculpture with multiple collisions.  Their first NFT is limited to an edition of one and will be auctioned via Foundation – the same marketplace used by the likes of Aphex Twin, Holly Herndon and Edward Snowden. Beatport is  launching a a NFT Audio/Visual compilation titled ' Music for Future Dance Floors' . Beatport will soon accept Bitcoin for payments beginning in June.  It says it will be the first digital music retailer to accept Bitcoin for purchases. There have been other music companies that operate with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies .  In addition to accepting Bitcoin in June, Beatport is launching a NFT Audio/Visual compilation titled Music for Future Dance Floors.  The NFT will arrive with unreleased tracks from Sasha, Charlotte de Witte, Boys Noize, Pan-Pot, a new collaboration between Nic Fanciulli and Alec Monopoly called “ Sold As Seen ” and a bonus track from Sama' Abdulhadi.
