The eight-part documentary series Techno House Deutschland is available in the media library of the TV channel ARD The series follows the development of electronic music and techno culture in Germany over three decades and traces its influence on the global techno movement. Four episodes are devoted to club culture as a place of culture, starting with Frankfurt in the late 1980s . The starting point is Sven Väth's  club Omen from the 90s. The next two episodes follow the development of techno culture in the east of Germany in Leipzig, the emerging festival landscape. Co-producer SWR puts a special focus on the Nature One festival in two episodes.  On 6th April 2022, the Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) will be ceremoniously opened in Frankfurt .  Located directly in the heart of the main city at the Hauptwache, the museum will present the exhibition “Sven Väth – It’s simple to tell what saved us from hell” ; a collaboration between close friends Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger. “There is no better opening exhibition for MOMEM, because Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger have each, in their own way, taken electronic music culture from Frankfurt to the world.” - said  Alex Azary , director of  MOMEM. The records, photographs, flyers, films, sounds, and Väth’s private art collection serve as the hub and starting point for this journey through electronic music culture ’s shared past since the late 1980s. The opening of the MOMEM , which is dedicated to the documentation, processing and switching of this cultural history of electronic music , will be celebrated naturally with a large public party with Sven Väth on 08.04.2021.
