Burning Man has recently unveiled the design for its new temple, “Temple of the Deep,” created by Spanish architect Miguel Arraiz. Standing approximately 13.4 meters tall and spanning a diameter of around 32 meters , the temple draws inspiration from the ancient volcanic rocks of the surrounding Black Rock Desert landscape. The design merges natural and futuristic elements to create a space for communal reflection and healing . The temple symbolizes strength and fragility , exploring themes of light and darkness , the personal and the collective, and the importance of honoring our life journeys. During the festival, participants will have the opportunity to experience this stunning structure, offering a sanctuary for contemplation and connection.
