Kosovo Clubbing

The night of MAR. 2, 2018, a once in a lifetime techno experience photo credit:  Adi Beqiri Everything was ready at the abandoned/former Rilindja Printing House, for the 9th Edition of Rilindja Warehouse, and so were we.  That night  we  went to the venue at 10:00 PM. While waiting outside for the doors to open,  we met a clique of techno/rave  enthusiasts from  Prishtina , who we started a conversation with, and asked us if we attended previous Editions of Rilindja Warehouse, as they told us: "This is our first time attending Rilindja Warehouse, so we would like to know what's the events are like here" So,  we  continued our conversation about the event we were about to attend in 30 minutes/ Hapësira  and we told them about the "Rilindja Warehouse" editions we attended in the past. Great party at  BASStore Club  on 17th February 2018! Music without exaggeration, objectively speaking, was brutal and concrete. It looked so wonderful for the ears and our bodies that moves in that lively techno rhythm. Techno gives you love! It should have the courage to spin "strong tracks" indoors and make the audience feel comfortable, pleasant and cheerful. Each atom of their dedication to what they do, through music, was radiated to all of us, the audience, who recognized most of the that were chosen and played by  Trips & Tics . It’s nice to feel such good vibrations released by the  techno music  that was going on,

The first edition of  Massive Fest , was held at Fshajt Bridge or Saint Bridge (Albanian: Ura e Fshejtë or Ura e Shenjtë) - Djakovica, Kosovo on 19 & 20 May, 2017. With a unique location, spectacular visuals, mint soundsystem & a lineup for every taste in music, including artists like:  Hajdar Berisha ,  MIM , DJ DS, Mali, DJ 69,  Megan , Fidani & Onufri,  Dynamic Man ,  Nita Latifi  & Band, Vibe Honeyz,  Vegim  &  Flekitza , DJ Ace, Duo Deejay’s, Alexose,  Martin B ,  Fatos Çunaku , it was an attractive/long awaited, festival. The variative genres of music, like: rock, house, tech house, deep house & techno, followed by the breeze of the nature & the sound of the river (Drin), that surrounded the festival’s location, made that weekend, unique, unforgettable & non-repeatable. Nowadays, after producing & releasing their first album, every artist of electronic music, wants to share it with the world. After failing to start his  “Breaking Point” - album world tour, due to visa refusal by some of the embassies, here in Kosovo & his bike accident, Kosovo based DJ & producer,  Vegim , finally starts his album world tour, on: Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Belgium & Lithuania. The album, is released on his own record label,  TMM Records . It includes 15 tracks, all written & produced by  Vegim . In this album,  Vegim  spreaded his inspiration & creativity, into 15 tracks. It’s no surprise that the album, is supported by:  Chris Liebing , Dax J, Slam, Audio Injection aka Truncate,  Pfirter , Dave Miller (Abstract Division), Kr!z, SNTS, Armaud Le Texier, ELECTRIC RESCUE, AnGy KoRe, Lag, Boriqua Tribez. We decided to stop at the capital of Kosovo - Pristina. Surprisingly, we found out about  Next Level’s  “11th Anniversary” Event with the UK-born/Berlin-based DJ -  Rebekah . We decided to attend the event.            That night, the host -  Next level, celebrated it’s 11th anniversary , and hellboy, they know how to do it!!! When we entered the venue (ODA Theatre - in the center of Prishtina), we were welcomed by heavy Techno beats and a large LED video wall. Visualisation was so great and powerful! "Kosovo is on the top of techno scene and they really have very good clubbing life.               We were amazed and shocked, in a positive way of course, as this party was all you want for a night out! The 11 years of experience of “ Next leve l”, certainly showed us how the Electronic Music Scene in Kosovo is growing, in fact, the Techno scene, what we wouldn’t

...Aril Brihka did a good live, though a bit more for Balkan people.. 2010, the night at the club FULL HOUSE with  Aril Brikha  was wonderful.  They brought additional sound system, Leg Off offered great real tech house at the beginning, and then Aril Brihka did a good live, though a bit more for Balkan people, and at the end Leg Off with a great break beat.  You can find photos from this night right here. ☆ x I’ll see you at one of the future parties. Eelke is not my sound, but I had fun!  Eelke Kleijn was supposed to fly in on April 17 th , but that party didn’t happen that night (because of all the flights being postponed due to the volcano ash cloud, remember that…), nor did it happen in the announced location. It all happened on May 7 th , 2010 at the just opened club, that has a massive sound system, “the new player in town” FULL HOUSE – and as the name of the club indicates, it was full that night. You can see photos  HERE. Eelke is not my sound, but i had fun! 

Before this party (Eelke Kleijn 7th may) there was another one in the  Spray club. You can listen to a short interview and the announcement for the party  HERE. People who went say it was really good, but not great. And that same night I was at  underGRAND , where  Vegim  was spinning, and the people were more concentrated on dancing than the tracks. Hmmm… I guess the tracks made them dance, no?!
