A new exhibition called " Electronic " that explores global club culture and the impact of electronic music, is opening at London’s Design Museum in April 2020. Featuring a soundtrack curated by Laurent Garnier, the exhibition will explore club culture in the UK, Berlin, Detroit, Paris and Chicago, as well as highlighting contributions from artists including Jeff Mills, Ellen Allien, Andreas Gursky and Jean-Michel Jarre. At the Design Museum, techno can be heard over speakers right from the start, and the space’s black walls, blue spotlights, mesh panels and bare scaffolding are clearly intended to evoke the club. Evoking the experience of being in a club, the exhibition will transport you through the people, art, design, technology and photography that have been shaping the electronic music landscape.
