 A brand-new synthesizer museum has opened in Berlin ! The Synthesizer Museum Berlin officially welcomed visitors on February 12, 2025 , at Skalitzer Straße 135A , in the Kreuzberg district . The museum features a permanent collection of more than 50 synthesizers , produced between 1970 and 2000 , which have played a major role in shaping electronic music over the decades. This museum is also a showroom for the nearby Synthesizer Studio Berlin , where musicians can use rare instruments to create and record their own music. Visitors will have the chance to try out all the synthesizers on display and experience the magic of electronic sound. In addition to the exhibits, the museum will also host exclusive music events and lectures . The grand opening featured performances by Thorsten Quaeschning (Tangerine Dream) and Kurt Dahlke Pyrolator , making the event even more special.
