New Album ’The Desecration of Desire’ by Dave Clarke

After a 14 year hiatus, techno and electronic music icon  Dave Clarke  releases his third full length album this month, entitled 'The Desecration of Desire'. After teasing us with the fantastic first single ‘Charcoal Eyes (Glass Tears)’ featuring Mark Lanegan which received support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X and club plays from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Nicole Moudeber, Marcel Dettmann etc, the long-time pioneer once again showcases his studio skills and musical vision across 10 tracks that go well beyond the dance floor. Before this party (Eelke Kleijn 7th may) there was another one in the  Spray club. You can listen to a short interview and the announcement for the party  HERE. People who went say it was really good, but not great. And that same night I was at  underGRAND , where  Vegim  was spinning, and the people were more concentrated on dancing than the tracks. Hmmm… I guess the tracks made them dance, no?!
