Genetic code covid19 has been transformed into ambient music and NFT

The genetic code of co19 has been turned into a set of tracks that are available for possession as NFT.

Behind the project is Viromusic, who created ambient music, created using the "genetic sequence within the Coronavirus".

“Using a technique called DNA Sonification, the melody in the songs is entirely derived from a viral sequence. Each note in the melody is part of the step-by-step instructions the virus uses to make multiple copies of itself. ”

They added compilation instruments such as cello and bass to finalize the sound. By the way, so far 10,000 songs have been made that use genetics in a wide range of music genres.

The songs are available on the Rarible platform as NFT with a starting price of 0.07 Ethereum, which is somewhere around 249 euros. Owners are given details about their specific track including which part of the COVID genetic sequence corresponds to the code used in the song as well as, a description of what that gene is used for in the virus.

According to NME, Viromusica says: “No note has been changed - it is a direct musical representation of the virus code. The idea for this collection was born out of awe of beauty in the life code.

"We hope this project helps to raise awareness that even a virus capable of inflicting such misery is fundamentally based on the same code as every living thing on earth. “We thought it would be interesting to take this code and make it play music. “We hope you find it as haunting, interesting and provocative as we do.”

It should also be mentioned that since its launch earlier this month, only one NFT has been sold.

You can listen to some of the songs below.

Movie - "Free Tekno" - world travelers who organize illegal parties in the forests

Free Tekno is a journey into the true underground of illegal underground techno festivals in Central Europe. The director travels with a group of Dutch and Irish young men who organize  illegal rave parties  in the forests of  Germany  and the  Czech  Republic. This is called the  underground   that is often written or referred to, but we rarely see it. As one interviewee puts it:   "We don't want money to profit, we do this out of love and be at a positive zero; if we make money, we use the money for travel or vacation expenses." "How many  parties  like this are made in which we are at all times exposed to the police shutting down music and confiscating equipment, but when you live for  electronic  music and have  enthusiasm , you do not think about blue caps" -  a director with Gunnar Hauth. Tillt Radio  is a new record store in Prishtina, opened 1 year ago. Located at BOHO in Prishtina's square, Tillt Radio record store is a very  warm place  where you can go  hang out , dig the crates for  vinyls  and enjoy  listening to music.  A while ago, I took a trip to Prishtina to meet a friend and surprise her with a vinyl from her favorite label, Klockworks I got for her birthday. That day was all about music and vinyls so, while i was there, i decided to go and visit Tillt Radio record store. I was very happy and excited for visiting the first record store in my life . I've bought vinyls before, from online record stores, but crate digging for vinyls, is a different feeling. There's nothing like crate digging! We needed a record store like Tillt Radio. I went there around 4 PM. I met Strella. He informed me about his record store and the genres he provides. There were various genres from pop, rock, blues to old electronic music. You can find some of the best
