The city of Poreč, on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia, will once again become a stage for contemporary art this summer. On August 30, 2025, the festival Street Art Poreč will host Kosovo artist Vegim, one of the key figures of the regional techno scene.
His set, titled Street Art Techno Dimension, will bring a synergy of urban art and hypnotic frequencies, designed to transform Poreč’s streets and squares into a completely new sonic experience.
For years, Vegim has been shaping the identity of Kosovo’s electronic music scene. A well-known producer and DJ, he remains faithful to hypnotic and raw techno sounds. His two labels, TMM and Alhena Records, serve as platforms for artists whose work reflects dedication, quality, and resistance to fleeting trends.
As highlighted by the editorial team of klubskascena.hr:
His commitment to studio work and the development of his labels TMM and Alhena Records continues to shape contemporary underground techno. By selecting artists and creating uncompromising tracks, Vegim builds techno that defies trends, remaining authentic and raw.
This year, Vegim performed in Amsterdam at the legendary Melkweg club as part of the Techno Tuesday event, organized by Dexon and Linda – winners of the prestigious Gouden Kabouter award for the best cultural techno night in the city.
At the same time, Vegim continued an intensive release schedule: in March this year he presented his album Individual Motion on Alhena, while his latest projects include remixes of “Dilemma 4” for Airsound Records and “Dark Tendencies” for Alhena.
After a year of intensive studio work in Croatia, Vegim is increasingly connecting with the local scene. His new studio in Poreč has already become a hub for fresh projects, and the city has recognized his sound as innovative and essential in enriching its artistic and cultural identity.
By closing Street Art Poreč, Vegim is bringing a techno dimension to a festival that, since 2001, has gathered artists from diverse disciplines – from street performances and visual art projects to acrobatics and stage shows. Each year, Street Art Poreč transforms the city into an open-air gallery by the sea, and in 2025 its finale will gain an entirely new energy – the energy of a techno pulse.
We are truly excited about Vegim’s performance because, just like every year, we want Street Art Poreč festival to close with a top-tier party — and that’s exactly what we expect from Saturday night. The mission of Street Art Poreč is to revive hidden corners of the city, to rediscover and remap them in the heart of the tourist season. That is why Vegim’s set gives us special joy: it will take place on the terrace of the former legendary Roxy bar and gather a selected audience eager for good rhythm, energy, and an unforgettable atmosphere,” said Suzana Rupenović, head of the festival’s music and stage program.
Vegim remains true to his mission — to awaken awareness of body and mind movements through authentic techno music in the rhythm of the heartbeat. His performance in Poreč, this Saturday, August 30, will be an opportunity for audiences from across the region to experience how boundaries dissolve — both in art and in real life.
