After the announcement of the new "anti-rave" law in Italy, which comes into force at the beginning of 2023, Italian partygoers in cities across the country on the Apennine peninsula have decided to express their dissatisfaction.

The new article of law 633, which should enter into force early next year, prohibits gatherings in open areas, abandoned buildings and similar locations where illegal raves could be held. Also, people suspected of organizing illegal raves, the new law enables them to be wiretapped.

Organized by several French and Italian music collectives, more than 50,000 ravers in Turin, Bologna, Naples, Rome, Palermo and Florence took part in street parades.

One of the prominent figures of the "anti-rave" protest is Santano Viperillo from the Naples club "Duel", says:

"It is important that we take a stand against the new law and allow the voice of partygoers and the rave community, as well as all other underground music communities, to be heard. All we want is for the situation to return to normal and for us to be able to have a night life without fear of repression."

This year's protest is only the first in a series of organized ones, because this resistance movement gathered under the name #smashrepression and they also plan street parades for 2023.

Safe the rave!

Movie - "Free Tekno" - world travelers who organize illegal parties in the forests

Free Tekno is a journey into the true underground of illegal underground techno festivals in Central Europe. The director travels with a group of Dutch and Irish young men who organize  illegal rave parties  in the forests of  Germany  and the  Czech  Republic. This is called the  underground   that is often written or referred to, but we rarely see it. As one interviewee puts it:   "We don't want money to profit, we do this out of love and be at a positive zero; if we make money, we use the money for travel or vacation expenses." "How many  parties  like this are made in which we are at all times exposed to the police shutting down music and confiscating equipment, but when you live for  electronic  music and have  enthusiasm , you do not think about blue caps" -  a director with Gunnar Hauth. Tillt Radio  is a new record store in Prishtina, opened 1 year ago. Located at BOHO in Prishtina's square, Tillt Radio record store is a very  warm place  where you can go  hang out , dig the crates for  vinyls  and enjoy  listening to music.  A while ago, I took a trip to Prishtina to meet a friend and surprise her with a vinyl from her favorite label, Klockworks I got for her birthday. That day was all about music and vinyls so, while i was there, i decided to go and visit Tillt Radio record store. I was very happy and excited for visiting the first record store in my life . I've bought vinyls before, from online record stores, but crate digging for vinyls, is a different feeling. There's nothing like crate digging! We needed a record store like Tillt Radio. I went there around 4 PM. I met Strella. He informed me about his record store and the genres he provides. There were various genres from pop, rock, blues to old electronic music. You can find some of the best
