Flekitza, dj and producer, performs on 28th August 2026. at the Street Art Poreč Festival, one of the longest-running street art festivals in Croatia. Her set, titled Corner Cuts, begins at 10 PM on the terrace of the Corner La Mat venue, in Poreč's old town center.
Techno, deep grooves and tracks pulled from her long-standing DJ archive, arranged for a somewhat different context than the club: for a terrace and the street running right alongside it, for those who'll stop and dance.
Corner Cuts is Flekitza's selection for the end of the day. It will be a cross-section of contemporary electronic music in the middle of the city. The goal is to get the audience moving and draw in people who love traveling through other dimensions via techno music.
Flekitza has lived and worked in Poreč for several years now, where she opened her own studio and became part of the local Croatian electronic scene. Her presence in the region isn't merely that of a guest, as she is actively involved in building and promoting a scene that bridges her Kosovar roots with the Adriatic context.
Croatian audiences already had the chance to get to know Flekitza through a performance in Rijeka, at the cult club Crkva. Her vinyl single Shifting Operations, released on her own label TMM Records, sold an impressive 55 copies. As of this year, the single is back in stores, with 56 copies available for collectors and vinyl enthusiasts.
The Street Art Poreč Festival, organized by the Poreč Open University since 2001, celebrates its 26th edition this year.
From Monday, August 24, to Saturday, August 29, Poreč's old town center transforms for the twenty-sixth time into an open-air gallery and stage — a city where exhibitions and dance, pantomime and circus, workshops and music all take turns.
Flekitza's performance is part of a festival program that includes artists from Croatia and Austria, with free admission to all events.
