For many festival travelers and electronic-music explorers, Envision Festival has long stood as one of the most transformative gatherings on the global cultural map — a meeting point of music, art, spirituality, ecology, and community set in the lush landscapes of Uvita, Costa Rica.
This year’s edition, taking place February 23 – March 2, 2026, marks a milestone chapter under the theme “Back to Our Roots – Inspiring Love, Unity and Connection to Nature.” The theme reflects a return to the original spirit that shaped the festival: reconnecting with the Earth, strengthening community bonds, and creating a space where participants can rediscover themselves while imagining new futures together.
For us, Envision has long been a favorite jungle festival we have not yet attended — years of travel limitations often made such journeys complicated. Today, with visa liberalization for Kosovo, traveling has become significantly easier, opening new doors for artists, creatives, and festival audiences who can now plan global experiences with far fewer obstacles. The possibility to apply for visas more easily — when needed — has already encouraged many travelers from the region to explore international cultural gatherings that once felt distant.
Envision has never positioned itself as only a music festival. It is conceived as a living experiment in conscious gathering, combining music programming with workshops, sustainability initiatives, healing practices, education, art installations, and community-driven experiences. Its philosophy centers on the belief that strong roots — connection to nature, collective responsibility, and shared creativity — lead to meaningful cultural growth: “the stronger the roots, the greater the fruits.”
The 2026 edition continues to expand its commitment to sustainability, regenerative solutions, health practices, movement disciplines, education, and immersive art environments, while maintaining an open-genre musical approach designed to remove borders between styles and bring people together on a shared dancefloor.
Set between jungle landscapes, waterfalls, mountains, and ocean waves, the festival’s natural environment becomes an essential part of the experience — encouraging visitors to slow down, explore, and reconnect with the rhythms of nature.
This year, several participants from Kosovo will be attending the festival, representing the growing global presence of the region’s creative community. Plans are already underway to connect with them during the gathering and document the experience through firsthand reports and photography, offering a closer look at the atmosphere of Envision for audiences back home. These insights may also help inspire future participation, as many travelers from Kosovo are now actively considering attending upcoming editions.
Envision is a reminder that community, creativity, and nature can coexist in powerful ways when people gather with intention.
Stay tuned as we follow the journey from Kosovo to Costa Rica and begin planning what might finally become our own first Envision experience next year.
