Young People from Kosovo Head to Sonus Festival Again – Second Year of Visa-Free Travel Opens the Doors to Pag and the Elite of Electronic Music

Sonus Festival, one of the world’s most renowned electronic music festivals, will take place from August 17 to 21, 2025, on the famous Zrće Beach on the Croatian island of Pag. 

This year, the festival celebrates its 12th edition with a rich lineup, top-tier production, and an experience that combines cutting-edge music with the natural beauty of the Adriatic coast.

Thanks to the visa-free regime, young people from Kosovo can now travel freely throughout the Schengen area, and for the second year in a row, many are taking this opportunity for unforgettable festival adventures. Sonus has become a top destination for electronic music lovers from Kosovo and the region.

This year, Sonus brings together over 70 artists from around the world, including Adam Beyer, ARTBAT, Ricardo Villalobos, Indira Paganotto, Sven Väth, Joseph Capriati b2b Seth Troxler, Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin, Deborah De Luca, Partiboi69, and many others. The lineup also features strong regional representation, including Dejan Milićević, Elena Mikac, Ani., BAGGI, GLIA, Labud, Dash, Tea Vučković, Tom Bug, and others, showcasing local talent to a global audience.

The festival kicks off with an Opening Party on August 16 at Aquarius Club, featuring East End Dubs, Franky Rizardo, and Elena Mikac. Throughout the five-day event, performances will take place at beach clubs such as Papaya, Kalypso, Aquarius, and Noa, along with legendary boat parties and exclusive afterparties.

This year’s edition includes brand collaborations with some of the world’s most respected electronic music institutions like Space Miami, Factory 93, FUSE London, Nordstern, and newcomers Decibel Open Air, The Bassement, Kiesgrube, and Keep On Dancing.

Voting for the Ambassador Award has ended

Voting for the best achievements in electronic music for the 2024 Croatian Ambassador Awards has ended.  It is awarded for the eighth time in a row by the Klubska Scena portal , and the project is implemented by the Klubska Kultura association.  The award ceremony will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024, at KUC Travno Zagreb, where the program will be opened for the first time with the exhibition of the most famous regional photographer Marko Obradović Edge called "Totalka".  The two-day program will be enriched by musical performances by bands and live acts and a discursive program that will be held the following day, December 14, in the Zagreb hip Radionica 32.
