ION Festival 2024: A Six-Day Adventures into Electronic Magic on the Ionian Sea, Dhermi, Albania

ION Festival, one of the most anticipated events on the regional electronic music scene, kicks off its third edition this week in the stunning coastal town of Dhërmi, Albania Over six days, numerous performers will take the stage, with some playing multiple sets in various styles, offering the audience a chance to experience the diversity of electronic music.

Tonight, festivalgoers will be treated to performances by Uran B. on the Canyon stage and Besa M on the Pool Hous stage.

A special highlight is September 10th, when the organization from Kosovo, Servis takes over the Cove Stage, bringing the sounds of Leo Lumezi, Ali Guney, and Helena Hauff—a trio guaranteed to deliver unmatched energy on the dancefloor.

For those looking to delve deeper into the creative process, the Yacht Club will host a series of interviews on Sunday from 14:30 to 16:00, led by Emerald, featuring guests such as KILIMANJARO, Marie Montexier, and Batu. These discussions will provide insight into the artistic approaches of these performers and the sets they will deliver throughout the festival.

A new addition to the festival this year, adding a special touch of adventure, are the Gramma Bay Boat Excursions – daily boat trips across the Ionian Sea, allowing participants to explore hidden shores, enjoy swimming and refreshments, all while returning at sunset. These intimate tours are the perfect way to unwind during a week filled with dancing.

It’s important to note that festivalgoers will not have access to mobile data or the internet during the festival, making this event a true oasis for those wanting to disconnect and fully immerse themselves in the music and the dancefloor.

With top-notch performers, unique locations, and a strong sense of community, ION Festival 2024 promises to exceed expectations and solidify its place on the map of must-attend festivals in the region.

See you somewhere at the beach ;)
