DOCUMENTARY: Above Ground Level – about the success of Dubfire (Deep Dish)

Documentary about the shocking story of Dubfire as an immigrant and today a world-famous DJ and producer.

Ali Shirazinia, born in Iran, would be a completely unknown person in the world of electronic music today, if he had not decided to grit his teeth and overcome every challenge that came his way to success.

From fleeing his homeland of Iran to becoming an American citizen, Dubfire begins with a story from his young days at the age of 7 to growing up in the world of electronic music.

As one half of the Grammy-winning duo "Deep Dish", Iranian-American Ali Shirazinia (aka 'Dubfire') has established himself as one of the world's most successful DJs and producers. But the road to success was not easy. 


Featuring honest interviews with family, childhood friends, industry peers, and fellow artists, this documentary offers an intimate glimpse into the dance music world. It's an inspirational story, illustrating the realization of one's passion, pursuit of grand dreams, and the inherent challenges that accompany success.

Tillt Radio Record Store, Prishtina, Kosovo

Tillt Radio  is a new record store in Prishtina, opened 1 year ago. Located at BOHO in Prishtina's square, Tillt Radio record store is a very  warm place  where you can go  hang out , dig the crates for  vinyls  and enjoy  listening to music.  A while ago, I took a trip to Prishtina to meet a friend and surprise her with a vinyl from her favorite label, Klockworks I got for her birthday. That day was all about music and vinyls so, while i was there, i decided to go and visit Tillt Radio record store. I was very happy and excited for visiting the first record store in my life . I've bought vinyls before, from online record stores, but crate digging for vinyls, is a different feeling. There's nothing like crate digging! We needed a record store like Tillt Radio. I went there around 4 PM. I met Strella. He informed me about his record store and the genres he provides. There were various genres from pop, rock, blues to old electronic music.
