Through about 15 minutes of documentary film, Resident Advisor touches on the big problem of Berlin, increasing gentrification, rising real estate prices and insecure rental contracts.

Given that Berlin's real estate market continues to boom, the current circumstances prompted Dimitri Hegemann to found the Tresor Foundation with the goal of protecting cultural and creative spaces in the city center.

"Tresor: A Story of Survival" was directed by Josiah McGarvie and produced by Emma Tracey.
