Nominations for the Electronic Music Award "Ambassador" have been announced

With the announcement of nominations in 35 categories of Croatia and the region, the voting of the audience and the jury for the best achievements in electronic music in 2024 also started.


Awards in 35 categories for top achievements in the electronic music scene of Croatia and the region are awarded for the eighth time in a row by the Klubska Scena portal, and the project is implemented by the Klubska Kultura association. 

The "Ambassador" award is already traditionally awarded to authors, performers, clubs, festivals, record labels, radio shows, photographers, art productions, vocal performers, and this year, among the almost 200 nominees, Zone Club from Kosovo is nominated for the best club in the region, Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra x Derick May, nominated for the best regional event of the year, and Don Dobruna, for the best graphic design of the year for Independence Night. 

Voting in the audience awards is open until November 22th , HERE, while over 60 jury members will choose the winners in the professional awards.

For the best graphic design of the year in the region is a professional award. In this category, the Expert Jury decides on the winner by secret ballot, and the prize will be awarded on Friday, December 13, 2024. in KUC Travno (Zagreb). We vote for Don Dobruna and his work you can see HERE! 


The expert jury consists of professionals from the electronic music industry who have achieved significant success, and among them are authors, performers, photographers, designers, event organizers, club owners, music journalists and independent researchers from the scene.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024 at KUC Travno (Zagreb), where the program will be opened for the first time with the exhibition of the most famous regional photographer Marko Obradović Edge "Totalka". 

The two-day program will be spiced up with musical performances by bands and live acts, and a discursive program that will be held the day after, on December 14, in the Zagreb hub Radionica 32.

MORE ABOUT THE EXHIBITION "TOTALK" BY MARKO OBRADOVIĆ EDGE 

The award-winning Marko Edge with the exhibition "Totalka" brings festival photos from the perspective of the DJ and the audience through the general plan. He is synonymous with festival photography not only in the region, but also across Europe, shooting events such as Cercle, Time Warp, Sonus, Ultra Europe. 

He has been the official photographer of Exit for 10 years and has 10 solo exhibitions behind him. He is present at most regional festivals, where he captures the emotions and energy of every moment with a camera in hand. 

MORE ABOUT THE DISCUSSION PROGRAM 

This year, the educational and discursive program will deal with current and relevant topics through panels and workshops in which the actors of the scene share their "know-how" and advise all interested creatives on how they can make a living from music. 

ABOUT THE AMBASSADOR 

The only independent music award that brings together the entire electronic music industry in Croatia and the region and serves as a platform for networking, exchange of ideas and cooperation. This year also confirms that electronic music plays an important role in the cultural and creative industries of Croatia and the region. The award is given to authors, performers, festivals, clubs, promising artists, radio shows... During the pre-nomination cycle, over 900 proposals for this year's edition arrived from the expert jury and through public applications. Through its action, the project emphasizes musical creativity, motivates upcoming actors to creative action, as well as cultural workers to dedicated and continuous work. The project was supported by Burn Energy and Gizeh.

Voting for the Ambassador Award has ended
