France: French President Macron has a strategic plan to launch "Music Week"
The first man of France is very familiar with electronic music, and he is especially proud of the legacy made in it by French DJs and producers.
On World Music Day and visiting the Fête de la Musique festival, French President Emmanuel Macron revealed to the media that he wants to start a "Music Week" in France modeled after the Amsterdam Dance Event and Miami Music Week.
The French president believes that the launch of such an event should be in the strategic plan for next year, because the electronic music industry has the power to gather hundreds of thousands of people and can easily be networked with other events such as Fashion Week
"Events like Amsterdam Dance Event or Miami Music Week bring together fans, artists and professionals from all over the world. There are of course panels, discussions, shows and festivals. These events are important cultural hubs," explains French President Macron, who reveals that he would like to see just such an event take place in Paris next year.
"We have to make such an event like the ones already mentioned in Amsterdam and Miami. We can make it possible for all of them to come, for example, to Fashion Week first, and then extend the socializing through music," concludes Emmanuel Macron, who in his statement to the media thanked musicians like Jean-Michel Jarre for everything they have achieved and done.
Paris Electronic Week
In France, more precisely in Paris itself, an event of a similar type has been held for years. Of course, we are talking about Paris Electronic Week, which is connected to the Parisian techno parade itself and gathers hundreds of thousands of people that weekend.
Back in 2018, at the initiative of the Ambassador award, the Croatian electronic scene for the first time in history came together and presented at Paris Electronic Week in a delegation of 17 "electronic ambassadors". Read more about this monumental event in klubskascena.h.
