New York: Ketamine-themed musical

Ketamine: The Musical, the New York collective House of Yes tries to take viewers on a journey through the different stages of taking ketamine

Directed by David Kiss and Sir Nathan, the play aims to provide an immersive experience. Both the positive effects and the dark side of the synthetic fad drug are shown.

"Ketamine: The Musical is an immersive, participatory, psychoactive and dissociative extravaganza," reads the announcement.

"The things you will see, hear and feel, you will not be able to unsee, hear and feel. Time will stand still as you are engulfed in circus, dancing, balloons, horses, clowns, sugar and music, lots of music. You will be educated and entertained. You will leave House of Yes a changed person."

House of Yes is a collective and club from Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York. Both were founded in 2007 by Kae Burke and Anya Sapozhnikova. The project sees itself as an interdisciplinary circus.

Among other things, it's about merging the traditional city disco scene, understanding sex-positive and queer celebrations and local Burning Man groups.

Those interested can watch the musical at House of Yes in New York until October 8.
