The Advent returns on Klockworks imprint

Cisco Ferreira’s seminal techno act The Advent returns to Ben Klock’s imprint this May with three distinctly turbo-charged cuts, following his release on the label’s 22nd instalment in 2018.

A pioneer of early British techno, the London-based producer began his career in the halls of the legendary Jack Trax label as a sound engineer, going on to produce cutting edge releases on imprints R&S, Tresor and Transmat.

This latest Klockworks release relinquishes the sparse energy of The Advent’s live sets from the 90’s with these previously unreleased timeless live recordings.

Favouring off-kilter percussion and warbled bass, all three strike hard with a distorted and visceral energy.

“KW30” will be out on September o4 in digital and vinyl formats.
