Italian club Cocoricò to reopen with new name after eight-month closure

The Rimini venue, which shut in June 2019 after a 30-year run, is now called Le Cocorico Riccione, AKA Cocco.


The Italian club Cocoricò will reopen on 12th April 2020 with a new name.

The venue closed as a result of being declared bankrupt in June 2019 after a 30-year run.

On April 12th, Cocoricò will open its doors again for the relaunch party called, "Everybody calls me Cocco," a short version of its new name, Le Cocorico Riccione. 

The lineup for reopening night, which starts at 11 PM and will go till 6 AM, and future programming are still TBA.



Known for its glass pyramid roof, Cocoricò was one of the most famous clubs in Europe at its height.

It had originally opened as a restaurant in 1989, later hosting the likes of Carl Cox, Tale Of Us, Richie Hawtin, Juan Atkins and Fatboy Slim over the years. Watch a teaser for the reopening party.
