Amsterdam Dance Event 2018 completes program

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world's largest club festival and business conference for electronic music, has completed its program with Jean-Michel Jarre and Nile Rodgers amongst the confirmed speakers.

2500 performers and 600 speakers in almost 200 venues around Amsterdam. 

The Amsterdam Dance Event takes place from the 17th to 21st of October, 2018. The organisers expect to welcome over 400,000 visitors from over 100 countries for the 23rd edition. Among the latest announced speakers are Jean-Michel Jarre (FR) and Nile Rodgers (US), who will make an appearance in the day program to speak about their career and their musical influence on current day electronic
music culture.


Focus on South-Korea and celebrations of 30 Year Dutch Dance


Expected highlights in the extensive day and nighttime program are the focus on South-Korea, with multiple appearances in both the festival and conference and the celebration of 30 Years of Dutch Dance, with the release of a special documentary, Hardwell & Metropole Orkest’s concert Symphony – The Global Revolution of Dance as well as the release of the book Dutch Dance: How The Netherlands took the lead in Electronic Music Culture.

Voting for the Ambassador Award has ended

Voting for the best achievements in electronic music for the 2024 Croatian Ambassador Awards has ended.  It is awarded for the eighth time in a row by the Klubska Scena portal , and the project is implemented by the Klubska Kultura association.  The award ceremony will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024, at KUC Travno Zagreb, where the program will be opened for the first time with the exhibition of the most famous regional photographer Marko Obradović Edge called "Totalka".  The two-day program will be enriched by musical performances by bands and live acts and a discursive program that will be held the following day, December 14, in the Zagreb hip Radionica 32.
