Drum 'n' Bass is Back: Spotify Streams Up by 94%

Drum 'n' bass is making a global comeback, with Spotify reporting a staggering 94% increase in streams since 2021. The genre’s revival is driven by younger listeners, as 68% of its audience is under 34, marking a fresh wave of popularity.

To celebrate this resurgence, Spotify has released a short documentary, "DnB: In For Life", a tribute to the genre’s journey from underground raves to global stages. Featuring artists like Charlie Tee, Flight, Kanine, and S.P.Y, the film explores the evolution of drum 'n' bass and its cultural impact.

As DJ Flight, one of the contributors, notes: “We’re witnessing a true explosion of drum 'n' bass in the mainstream. It’s incredible to see a new generation making the genre their own.”

Top-streamed artists include Chase & Status, Rudimental, and Bou, with hit tracks like *"BACKBONE"* and "Green & Gold" leading the charge.

Drum 'n' bass continues to inspire and captivate fans worldwide, proving it’s here to stay.
