After a decade of public discussions, the Bundestag adopted the partial cannabis legalization in Germany this Friday (February 23). Until recently, the Government's plans for controlled use with numerous restrictions were criticized from several sides. Legalization was supported by 407 deputies, and 226 of them were against it. The new rules will be valid from April 1, 2024.  Cultivation and possession of certain quantities for personal consumption will be allowed for adults from April 1, 2024. Adults over the age of 18 are generally allowed to possess up to 25 grams of cannabis for personal use in a public place.  Cultivation of three cannabis plants and possession of up to 50 grams of cannabis for personal use are also allowed. Public consumption should be prohibited, among other things, in schools, sports facilities and in the vicinity of these facilities - more precisely 100 meters as the crow flies from the entrance to the facility. Musician from Dubrovnik shares production knowledge and the art of working in Ableton live on his YouTube channel every Thursday from 5 p.m. Haris Čustović has deconstructed a melodic tech-house track and composed a completely new tech house track through his "Wave Workshop" in the past few educational streams. In the new edition of the educational stream, Haris Čustović will provide an insight into the process of creating his song "My Love", which he composed in 2002 together with Paul Stubbs and released on Swag Records. Mayday is probably the most traditional, long-standing event for electronic dance music, and on April 30th it will celebrate 33 years of existence. It has been called the " mother of all raves " or the " holiday of electronic music culture ". It has already spread to countries like Poland, Russia, Hungary and Belgium. The biggest Scottish festival is coming to Tisno, Croatia  instead of the SunceBeat festival. The premier edition of the Terminal V Croatia festival will be held from July 18 to 22 at The Garden Resort, not far from Tisno.  The Scottish festival was recently awarded DJ Mag's "Best of British" for the best festival, and their arrival in Croatia will be their first event organized outside of Edinburgh.  Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant passed away. I know Silent Servant thanks to  Rødhåd . Years ago, I came across a series called " What's In My Bag ?" by Amoeba Record Store in Hollywood. There was an episode Rødhåd. I love Rødhåd so I watched the episode. During the interview, Rødhåd mentioned that he bumped into Silent Servant downstairs & that he was into movie soundtracks.     I was familiar with the name but I wasn't familiar with his work. I didn't know what a legend he was.  A few days after his passing, I came across his 'In Memoriam' EP released on Tresor Records . I was so impressed that I asked myself: "Why didn't I listen to his music before?"  M-87 reminded me of Depeche Mode .
