Techno rave held at Chillnobyl

Over the years, raves have been held in some unusual and unique locations, but we must agree that there is no more unique location than the Chernobyl zone.  “I Invite Everyone to Chernobyl Future Rave”  The host was Igor Oprya , who spent weeks cleaning the abandoned village club building and turning it into a place where a dance floor and bar could be located. The video used for the promotion showed him writing “I Invite Everyone to Chernobyl Future Rave” on a sign at the entrance to the city of Pripyat. However, not everything went smoothly, as some groups condemned him for violating the ban on the contaminated zone. Rave called “Chillnobyl” focused on strong techno, with a long list of local DJs playing until the early hours of the morning. With a well-equipped bar and a great visit, the rave went better than expected. More info and photos about Chernobyl Future Rav e  HERE !  Let's make a techno universe , we are sure we can do it :)  Let's rave! :)

City od Vilnius releases "Socially Distanced" XMas LP

Group of seven Lithuanian electronic music producers have released Re-Xmas, a ‘socially distanced’ Christmas album commemorating the “extraordinary” 2020 festive season. As a video on the Re-Xmas project website explains, the album features reworkings of traditional Christmas songs, including ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Silent Night and ‘O Christmas Tree’ (‘O Tannenbaum‘), by top local talent.  The ‘ social distancing ’ element sees the composers adding two equal intervals of pause – symbolising two metres’ distance – after each note from the song’s main melody. Every note from a song’s main melody was followed by two equal-length intervals of pause. This gave notes more space and made rhythms much slower, but that was only the beginning.  Contributors include dark-techno DJ Alex Krell, ambient producer Fume and experimental electronic duo Lakeside Culture , with the album’s release supported by Lithuanian DJ collection Antidote Community .  Antidote Community · Re-Xmas The project a

Not only have they had a strong impact in my lif

Beijing club Lantern reopens at new location with three rooms

Lantern, an 11 year-old nightclub in China’s capital, has a new address.  There's a multi-purpose space, a larger area that will host "the kind of techno events that make up Lantern's core identity" and an intimate room that the club calls a "dark vault." This is the third time Lantern has changed addresses since opening in 2009. Despite enduring "all sorts of trials and tribulations time and time again" throughout the years, Lantern has become "a mainstay of techno culture in China," the club said in August. [ source ]
