Berghain club will host a techno party on Saturday and Sunday - but it will look different than in pre-pandemic times. You have certainly encountered numerous interruptions to watch live streaming, and this has just happened due to various issues and unresolved copyrights on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or youtube. Festival organizers have been closely monitoring the situation for the past few weeks and unfortunately, it is now clear that the festival cannot take place this year. This decision has not been made lightly, but the health and well being of our Secret Solstice community is our main priority. They will be back next summer with more energy than ever on the 25 - 27 June 2021.  Headliners for 2021 edition are Cypress Hill, Blackbear, Lil Pump, Primal Scream, Regard, Ensími, Nýdönsk and more. Further details of artists will be released very soon. All tickets purchased for Secret Solstice 2020 will be valid for the new 2021 dates. If anyone still wishes to refund their ticket, the festival ticketing operator will be in contact regarding the refund process very soon. Once again German senate is surprising and supporting us 😇  The club culture in Berlin was already at risk at the beginning of the year, but the impact of COVID-19 only threatens to deepen the crisis.   Small businesses like clubs and other creative institutions can apply for up to €15,000 for a 3-month grant to help them through the shutdown and quarantine. Berlin federal government is also offering aid to artists, creative spaces in Berlin, and platforms like United We Stream. [ source ] 

We are happy to announce that our cup of techno podcast "Deep Space Helsinki"  will be back on a new platform, IDA Helsinki , from March 4th 2020 onwards. After being on hiatus for 5 months, the Finnish radio show Deep Space Helsinki, hosted by Juho Kusti and Samuli Kemppi since 2009 , is coming back on a new community radio platform, IDA Helsinki.   Their first show on the new platform will be broadcasted tomorrow on Wednesday, March 4th 2020 18:00 - 20:00 and all following new shows will be aired Wednesdays in four-week cycles.  These shows will also be uploaded afterward to their Deep Space Helsinki Soundcloud page.   You can check out more information about the show, airtimes, and programs at www.idaidaida.net and www.deepspacehelsinki.com.  Let's listen to techno <3 

Dimensions 2020 will take place between the 13th–17th August across three stunning locations; the idyllic Garden Resort in Tisno, a fortress-top Amphitheatre in Sibenik in addition to star lit dancing at the world famous Barbarella’s Discotheque. Leando Delanuuka best known as Le Martz is one of the most relevant new artist from Buenos Aires that has grown rapidly gaining tons of recognition in the local and international scene. We first heard of his work on techno label from Kosovo,  TMM Records  with his  Magma EP  in 2017. His Debut Ep 'SIMC0007' on Simplecoding is one of our favorites and got amazing reviews from us. Very good work! Now he Le Martz comes back with his second Ep named System with 2 original tracks loaded with sequenced sounds and pounding lows. This ep also contain remixes from the Mexican Damian Vargas and the Argentinian Oruam Zior to complement nicely and making this one great 2019 finale. Our favorite form this EP is Dry but we do love both remixes! This EP will be out soon on Simlecoding owned by Juan Trujillo. We are sooooo into Argentinian # techno :)

The Senate has formally proposed a new law that will interfere with the survival of the scene in that country. The law provides that every organizer must adapt to the new "precautions" that require him to meet with the mayor at least one month before the event. They are also seeking a reduction in volume and noise parameters, new administrative deadlines and other difficult criteria to apply. This law is reminiscent of the UK law of the 90s which was then in force at illegal parties. Currently, the problem is to get all the permits and authorizations, but with the new law it will be almost impossible for one average young organizer to embark on such obligations. Penalties for breaching the law are £ 3750 and / or seizing equipment that is expensive. They believe that the law will contribute to the overall better lifestyle of the stat. After their first foray into the vinyl world last year, with a beast of a release from Time Traveler, Holland's Obscuur return with another vinyl outing, this time from Ceili. With two very strong originals and wonderful remixes from harder favourites Hadone and Rommek. At once pristine and rough, there's an attention to detail which allows every sound to pop, both across the percussive opener and the arpeggio based second track. There's definitely a hint of rave warfare in here too, it's high octane stuff for an energetic crowd. On remix duties we have the ever heavyweight Hadone , who slams his foot on the gas, playing it flat out. The ADE conference is completely sold out with limited availability for ADE Beats and ADE University. From 16th and the 20th of October more than 2,500 artists and 600 speakers will take part in the event in Amsterdam .
