MDMA could repair bad relationships in romantic relationships

The pandemic has put love relationships under significant pressure as couples grapple with new difficulties, i.e. lack of privacy. Too much togetherness, lack of personal space and the inability to do normal activities, such as going to the gym, are cited as reasons that lead to problems in relationships. A website that provides legal documents has reported a 34 percent increase in divorce contract sales during the pandemic, compared to the same time period last year. Recent research by Dr. Brian Earp , titled Psychedelic Moral Enhancements, recalls MDMA being used in couples therapy in the 1980s. Is the time right to revive this study? Yale University's Earp writes:  "In the 1980s, before it was outlawed, MDMA —popularly known as ' ecstasy ' for the euphoric feeling it can produce"—was used by professional counselors as an aid to couples therapy." Writing in in the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs in 1998, George Greer and Requa Tolbert described a method

200,000 people attend Berlin's Rave The Planet parade

Around 200,000 people hit the streets of Berlin on Saturday, July 9th, for Rave The Planet, the first event of its kind in the city in more than 15 years. Photo: Gm Hammond This was a very free parade , which featured over 100 DJs and a variety of floats from d ifferent crews and collectives.  Dr. Motte, the man responsible for Berlin’s first acid house parties in the late-1980s, and the Love Parade , co-founded Rave The Planet in 2020 to bring the massive street party back to Berlin for the first time since 2010.  "What a day. Unbelievable. We brought the spirit of the Love Parade back to Berlin. We did it, and with the best intentions. We, as the non-profit Rave the Planet organisation, worked long and hard on it. We all felt the rhythm and the bass in the streets of Berlin and the music brought us together." - said Motte to DJMAG. The last official L ove Parade in Berlin was in 2006. The events stopped worldwide several years later, after 21 people died in a crush

Turtle Fest 10th Anniversary

Since 2012, Turtle Fest has been gathering friends & music lovers, at the amazing Dhërmi Beach. The stage is located somewhere on the breathtaking beach. It takes a long walk from the camp to reach the stage. That's a journey itself!! 😊 We went to Turtle Fest for the first time, in 2015. On the first night of the festival, we and our friends were walking on the beach, heading to the stage. We could hear the sound of the sea and we could feel the summer breeze. As were approaching the stage, me and my friend heard Agents of Time - Polina being played at the stage. We recognized it right away. We love that track! 🎶❤️We knew that if we kept walking, the track would end before we reached the stage and we would miss the chance to dance to one of your favorite tracks so we stopped walking, danced to the track and then we continued walking, when the track ended. ❤️😊 The friends we met at the camp stopped walking too. They were waiting for us. 😊 Turtle Fest is one of those experi

The Sunny Hill Festival will stay in Pristina

Awesome news! It blew my mind, indeed! 😍 Sunny Hill Music Festival will be held in Pristina from August 4 to 7, although the organizers previously announced that it will be moved to Tirana, and the reason is that they failed to get 17 hectares of land in the Kosovo capital for 99 years.... hmmm I can only say that the Sunny Hill fans are not interested in this at all, because it is only important for us to have cultural events in our city, especially after the years of the pandemic. The Sunny Hill Festival was held in Pristina for the first time in 2018, and then again in 2019. The 2020 edition was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Festival has hosted some of the world's biggest music names, including Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Action Bronson and dozens of other artists.  This edition of the festival will be held in Germia Park. Due to space limitations in Germia Park, Sunny Hill Festival this year will have a limited capacity of partici
