 After 18 months of no shows, Paul Kalkbrenner is running hot, releasing ‘Si Soy Fuego’ a brand new single and video fresh off headlining the renowned Exit Festival. Unveiling the Episode One dates of a brand new theatrical live concert tour in October , which will include screenings of a new director’s cut of the cult movie, Berlin Calling, in which Kalkbrenner starred.  ‘Si Soy Fuego’ is a percussive cut that Kalkbrenner centers around a Spanish language vocal that he discovered among “a pile of demo recordings”. It’s a buoyant message encapsulating Paul’s enthusiasm for live music’s return, a sentiment mirrored in the accompanying video, shot at this past weekend’s 20th-anniversary edition of Exit Festival in Serbia. A n ew documentary exploring the history of the UK’s Free Party Movement is in the works.  Free Party: A Folk History is a chronicle of the movement, in which a new wave of underground and outdoor rave parties swept the nation from the late 1980s to the early-to-mid 1990s.  According to its creator, DJ, producer and filmmaker Aaron Trinder, the documentary charts: "the free party movement's birth, its rapid rise and how the state tried to crush it, from the people who lived it and the legacy it leaves in the present day all across the world." Ostgut-Ton’s ambient and experimental division A-TON announce the release of ‘DIALOGUE‘ , a 4-track extended player of heady meditative experimentations composed remotely during the height of the pandemic from Luke Slater, Anthony Child, KMRU, Lady Starlight, Tom Moth and Speedy J. DIALOGUE was conceived as a series of musical letters written back and forth between Luke Slater, Anthony Child (aka Surgeon), KMRU, Lady Starlight, Speedy J and harpist Tom Moth (of Florence + the Machine) at the height of the pandemic between 2020 and early 2021.  Using the common language of rhythmic ambient electronics, each DIALOGUE features three actors in a sonic conversation of longform improvisation between 15 and 25 minutes in length, with Luke Slater the common denominator. DIALOGUE will first be released digitally this month, with a full vinyl release of the project due to follow in August.  A-TON will release DIALOGUE on June 25, 2021. [source] 

The whole world is already buzzing about the return of Space to Ibiza , but we will go back 5 years when the popular club brand closed its doors.  The marathon party started on October 2, and ended the day after at exactly 12 o'clock. The club closed with an epic Carl Cox that marked ten seasons there.  Then the owner Pepe Rosello said goodbye:  "Your and our emotions and our love and our friendship here are sealed and signed forever dear friends.  Future Scope opened the outdoors season last Saturday, June 5, and despite strict measures, held a party at Jarun during the day and night from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Senno & Sin, Jock & Shipe, te Dax J. performed that night.  And while we look forward to the relaxation and normalization of the situation, Future Scope is announcing, again at Jarun, Jeff Mills for Saturday, July 10th at 5 p.m.  For Jeff Mills , who has stood out a lot in recent years by creating space-inspired music, it is not necessary to say anything too much, because the character and the work speak for themselves.  See you on July 10 at Jarun :) 

Ellen Allien will headline a 300-capacity pilot rave in Berlin on Sunday, June 13th , the first legal dance party to be held in the capital this year. Entry is free. This one will be the first ever legal party in Berlin since the pandemic started. It is being organised by the Hygiene Concepts and Infection Protection In The Event Industry (Hygieia) and it is backed by the local German government.  The show that will be running from 2pm until 10pm at night, granted tickets through a random raffle. There are certain rules to comply with in order to access the venue in Revier Südost.  All attendants either must have been fully vaccinated (with all doses) 14 days before the event date or have passed the coronavirus in the past 6 months or present a negative PCR or antigen test.
