     The pandemic put every event on hold. After one year break, UNUM Festival announced the 2nd edition with an enormous line-up. The UNUM crew collaborated with Swallow Events in order to ensure the rapid testing, gaining the government's approval to hold the festival.  "The UNUM team is ready for the new edition of the festival with certain measures due to the covid-19 situation. We are in constant contact with the institutions and we are regularly updated on the covid-19 situation. The organization is totally different from previous years, we have everything we need to keep both festival visitors and artists safe. This year we will also have the "Culture Week" in Shëngjin during UNUM Festival . "Traum" has launched a competition for new techno talents

The organization of electronic music events in Croatia, Traum , invites all young and talented DJs from all over EX-YU to an online music competition through which they will choose one of you to perform and open the ” 20th anniversary of Traum ”, an event with mysterious techno artist SNTS .  “ Traum 20 ” event will take place on 29th May in Osijek, Croatia.  The location and conditions of the event, due to co19 situation, will be announced later.  Rules :  1. Record and send a 60-minute mix that will best present your vision of opening this techno night. Traum crew wants to hear how you will manage the warmup slot!  2. Beatport: Calling all producers (and gamers)!

  Beatport has partnered with Rockstar Games to celebrate Grand Theft Auto Online's latest update, The Cayo Perico Heist , and pay homage to the video game's vast musical legacy with a one-of-a-kind remix challenge.  Kicking off on Thursday, February 25th, the Grand Theft Auto Remix Challenge gives producers the chance to win a $6000 prize package — filled with DJ and music production hardware, software, subscriptions, and GTA swag — along with track support from Beatport and Rockstar Games.  The track selected for the competition is GTA radio favorite, "Pool Song" by Berlin-based duo Lea Porcelain.  The winning remix will score an official track release on their Lea Porcelain Recordings label and a featured premiere on Beatportal.  Click HERE to download the stems, learn the guidelines, check the prizes list, and get started! The UK will lose 80% of its clubs in March 2021

 The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) says 81 percent of UK clubs will close by March 2021 without government help. Thus, the organization is urging that venues receive financial help. According to a survey conducted on over 100 clubs, many nightclubs are in jeopardy of closure. The results said that: 81 percent of nightclubs in the UK say they won’t survive past February without further support from the government.  88 percent of nightclubs in the UK have over 2 months rent arrears, with 50 percent having over 3 months rent arrears at the start of January. 86 percent of nightclubs have made redundancies with over 65 percent making over 60 percent of their workforce redundant before the end of 2020.  43 percent of the nightclubs surveyed have not received any grant support from the government.  NTIA states that the lack of financial support isn’t the only problem causing the devastating impact on the night sector. Rave The Planet Parade Promotes Techno Culture

  Exactly one year ago, Berlin’s Rave The Planet gGmbH (non-profit) was launched and is therefore celebrating its first small anniversary of existence.  Not a matter of course after a year like 2020.  Rave The Planet has already successfully received over 390,000.00 Euros in donations from over 24,000 people from all over the world. Among other goals, to realise a new parade in Berlin in the spirit of the original Love Parade. The non-profit organisation, which includes techno legend Dr. Motte, focuses on three major goals:  1. To protect, promote and develop the culture of electronic dance music in all its forms. And to develop it further. To promote its own as well as other charitable projects in the long term.  2.
