First 20 Acts to Join EXIT Festival's Big 20-Years Bash!

EXIT Festival 's big  20 years  celebration will take place from  9 to 12 July 2020  at the 18th century  Petrovaradin Fortres s, overlooking the Danube to festival's hometown  Novi Sad  in Serbia.  Various styles of  electronic ,  rock ,  metal  and  hip-hop music  in a diverse lineup that  EXIT  is known for.  David Guetta, Tyga, James Arthur, Fatboy Slim, Boris Brejcha, Sepultura, Meduza, ARTBAT and Zhu , to name a few, will be playing one of world's most beloved and award-winning festivals that started as a peace and freedom movement back in 2000. EXIT 2.0 starts a new festival era with a grand celebration of its 20th birthday

After this year’s edition of EXIT Festival which was the most successful ever by many standards, next year, from July 9th to 12th, the festival will celebrate its 20th birthday! The home of the festival, the medieval  Petrovaradin Fortress , will be the global music scene’s focus come July, with more than 40 stages and zones hosting some of the biggest music stars of today, as well as several selected EXIT acts from the previous two decades, whose performances have earned them a firm place in the festival’s history. Under the  symbolical  slogan of  EXIT 2.0,  the festival marks the beginning of its  new era , announcing numerous innovations in all areas of its activities. “The entire  EXIT  team, as well as our friends and artists, are determined to surpass even the record-breaking years behind us in order to bring the best edition of the festival and an entirely new EXIT, ready to take on the next twenty years!”, said  Dušan Kovačević , founder of the festival.

Amelie Lens leads the bill of the EXIT’s No Sleep Festival!

After recently being given the honor to close EXIT Festival along with several other biggest electronic events in the world this summer, Belgian superstar Amelie Lens will headline the EXIT-presented No Sleep Festival in Belgrade on November 8. No Sleep Novi Sad stage has been completed!

With the arrival of the world-famous ADID party for the finale of EXIT festival, the program for this year’s No Sleep Novi Sad stage has been completed!  On the first festival day, July 4 , the beloved stage will welcome the fascinating techno club  MMA – Mixed Munich Arts  and many friends of the club, such as  I Hate Models , SHWD & Obscure Shape , Boston 168 , Black Lotus, Martina Hilber  and  Ana Rs. While on Friday, July 5, festivalgoers will be greeted by a world-class crew, performing under the banner of the globally recognized Brazilian club  D-Edge  from Sao Paulo,  Blawan, Giorgia Angiuli, 999999999, BLANCAh, Renato Ratier, Lag + Monosaccharide  and  Duc in Altum !  The third festival day, July 6, will see the arrival of  DVS1 , JASSS, Dadub, NDRX, Zitto  and  Klaus , coming together for the showcase of the notorious Georgian club  Bassiani  from Tbilisi! No Sleep Stage welcomes the special edition of All Day I Dream!

EXIT Festival's internationally venerated music platform No Sleep will host a special edition of the world-famous party All Day I Dream! The line-up will be personally picked by its DJ guru  Lee Burridge , who is coming to EXIT Festival on Sunday, July 7, along with ADID’s prominent artists like  Sebastien Leger , YokoO  and  Newman !  The  No Sleep Novi Sad   stage will step out of its usual format of presenting leading clubs of the world, such as fabric, Tresor, Bassiani and many others, with hosting one of the most recognizable global music events inside the walls of the stunning Petrovaradin Fortress. EXIT and OPENS choose the young music talents of the Play @ EXIT contest

EXIT festival and OPENS 2019 - Association of the Youth European Capital of Novi Sad, Novi Sad, are launching a competition for young performers who are given the chance to perform at one of the stages at Petrovaradin Fortress from July 4 to July 7, and for the first time in the history of Exit, Play @ EXIT  the contest comes to musicians on the threshold! After applying through the APPLICATION on exitfest.org, at the competition that will last until April 20 , the music jury will invite selected candidates to show themselves at the stage in seven cities across Serbia, while the best of them will perform at EXIT festival!  Not only for the best young bands, but also for DJs! A force for social change Not many modern festivals have a backstory beyond a commercial enterprise, but EXIT was formed in the spirit of genuine youth rebellion . The festival started as a 100-day student protest in 2000 against the Milosevic regime, with an idea to “Exit out of the madness” and a movement for freedom in Serbia and peace in the Balkans.
