Tillt Radio Record Store, Prishtina, Kosovo

Tillt Radio  is a new record store in Prishtina, opened 1 year ago. Located at BOHO in Prishtina's square, Tillt Radio record store is a very  warm place  where you can go  hang out , dig the crates for  vinyls  and enjoy  listening to music.  A while ago, I took a trip to Prishtina to meet a friend and surprise her with a vinyl from her favorite label, Klockworks I got for her birthday. That day was all about music and vinyls so, while i was there, i decided to go and visit Tillt Radio record store. I was very happy and excited for visiting the first record store in my life . I've bought vinyls before, from online record stores, but crate digging for vinyls, is a different feeling. There's nothing like crate digging! We needed a record store like Tillt Radio. I went there around 4 PM. I met Strella. He informed me about his record store and the genres he provides. There were various genres from pop, rock, blues to old electronic music. You can find some of the best

Vinyl sales have increased 108% in 2021

Some would say that the gramophone record is a medium of the past, but vinyl is experiencing a real revolution in the 21st century.  The records experienced the peak of their careers from the 1920s to the 1980s, after which the demand for them suddenly disappeared, due to the appearance of CDs. Today, many experts and people from the industry claim that gramophone culture has never been completely eradicated, but that its presence has simply been less in certain periods of time. Vinyl has practically never stopped being produced and sold, primarily thanks to DJs and DJ culture. This boom in sales is an impressive 108% increase in comparison to the same time period in 2020 where 9.2 million vinyl records were sold. Although Vinyl for the last few years has started to consistently outperform CD sales, which in the first half of 2021 stood at 18.9 million units sold.  Some of the top-selling vinyl releases of the year include Harry Styles’ ‘Fine Line’, Billie Eilish’s ‘When We All Fall

vinyl 12" | HVL - Rhythmic Sonatas [Bassiani]

After the stunning Ostati album released on Organic Analogue last year, Georgia's HVL is back with a new album on the label for his home turf, Bassiani.  As a resident of the infamous Tbilisi club, he knows innately how to communicate the vibe of one of the world's most widely discussed techno clubs, only this time he's taken a slightly tougher stance.  " Eyes In The Sky " has a fierce, paranoid acid edge, while "F12 (Korg Patch Mix)" gets into freaky, cerebral techno territory.  There are intriguing interludes and skits, and plenty more dancefloor heaters delivered with an inventiveness that once again affirms HVL's status as one of the brightest talents operating in the loosely defined field of deep techno. vinyl 12" | The ADVENT - Dorian Blue [Thema Recordings]

Cisco Ferreira continues to fly the flag for rugged hardware powered techno with personality, well over 20 years since he first emerged.  The Advent is rightly hailed as a mark of assured quality for good reason, and Thema makes a smart move in signing up this fresh grip of tracks from the veteran producer.  " Kombination 100 " is a lurid, slightly unhinged acid workout from the outer limits, while " Dorian Blue " sets a more moody , aquatic tone with a dash of electro thrown in for good measure.  " In Time " brings things up in tempo and attitude, sporting some surging 909 drums guaranteed to get bodies striding with purpose, and then " Rhythm " spins out into trippy electro territory for the heads-down travelers to get spiritually expanded to.
