Take a peek into the studio of Colombian electronic wizard Adriana Lopez

Adriana Lopez, a Colombian electronic artist hailed as one of techno's most influential figures by London's Fabric, has opened the doors to her studio.  Born in Colombia, Adriana Lopez entered the electronic scene in Bogotá in the late 90s, taking her place behind the DJ desk for the first time.  A significant milestone in her career came when she moved to Barcelona in 2003 to pursue studies in audio engineering and music production. Barcelona became her home, and her career soared to great heights.  Fabric , based in London, acknowledged her immeasurable contributions to the techno genre in her 20-year career.  Her influence extends not only in Colombia but also throughout South America.  To establish a platform for her releases, she launched her own label, Gray Report, in 2013. First 20 Acts to Join EXIT Festival's Big 20-Years Bash!

EXIT Festival 's big  20 years  celebration will take place from  9 to 12 July 2020  at the 18th century  Petrovaradin Fortres s, overlooking the Danube to festival's hometown  Novi Sad  in Serbia.  Various styles of  electronic ,  rock ,  metal  and  hip-hop music  in a diverse lineup that  EXIT  is known for.  David Guetta, Tyga, James Arthur, Fatboy Slim, Boris Brejcha, Sepultura, Meduza, ARTBAT and Zhu , to name a few, will be playing one of world's most beloved and award-winning festivals that started as a peace and freedom movement back in 2000. Ever since its rebellious roots,  EXIT  won  two  titles of the  Best Major European Festival  at European festival awards, the  Best Overseas Festival  at UK Festival Awards and  dozens  of other awards and recognitions by some of the world’s most influential media. ​ Headlining this first of many announcements is  David Guetta.  Joining him on the  Main Stage  will be rapper   Tyga (Thank You God Always). Q&A - Lag [Teskoba, SR]

* Hi Lag, thank you for your time, and for the interview. Can you give us a short introduction to you?  L: Hi, I’m Lag. I’m a Serbian producer of, well, mostly broken techno. I release on MORD, THEM and a few other labels. I also DJ, mostly around Europe, although I just came back from a US tour. Your latest releases on: Mord Records / Unkown Entity / Stale / Soul Notes, were impressive as always.  * What inspires your production?  L: It really varies from track to track. I usually start with a genre or track that I really love and an idea. Most of my original music comes from a concept, a non-musical idea that I want to transfer to the musical form and most of the remixes come from how I've heard the sounds of the original in my head. I sometimes stick hard to what I had envisioned (which often makes the process long and tedious, but pays off in the end) but more often I lay down the original idea and start experimenting, seeing where that takes me.  * What equipment are you cur
