Musician from Dubrovnik shares production knowledge and the art of working in Ableton live on his YouTube channel every Thursday from 5 p.m. Haris Čustović has deconstructed a melodic tech-house track and composed a completely new tech house track through his "Wave Workshop" in the past few educational streams. In the new edition of the educational stream, Haris Čustović will provide an insight into the process of creating his song "My Love", which he composed in 2002 together with Paul Stubbs and released on Swag Records. The International Music Summi t recently published its annual report on the electronic music industry in May.  The rise of electronic music on various online platforms, and the industry's record-breaking value exceeding 11 billion dollars.  According to the findings, electronic music represents 39% of festivals, marking a 6% increase in bookings compared to 2021.  However, when examining the Top 100 DJs, female DJs accounted for only 15% of bookings and events, reflecting a 6% decline from 2021.  In terms of total bookings, female DJs experienced a remarkable growth of 199% in terms of the number of guests.  Although this growth is noteworthy, it still falls short when compared to male DJs, who achieved a 344% increase in bookings and hits. The movement, called Bye Bye Plastic, was founded by Vivie-Ann Bakos, also known as Blond:ish, and has gained support from well-known DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Honey Dijon, and Pete Tong, among others. The initiative aims to eliminate the use of plastic in DJ booths and has been named "#PlasticFreeParty".  DJs who signed the petition have pledged to adhere to the rule that prohibits the use of single-use plastic in the DJ booth. Founder Vivie-Ann Bakos says that change is driven by movements and that music is the secret ingredient in creating such movements.  She believes that music can bind and unite people, and that it should be used for infinite good.  This movement is part of a larger trend in the music industry, with festivals around the world launching initiatives to reduce the use of plastic packaging.  Ibiza, known for setting trends in the industry, has also started taking steps towards reducing single-use plastic.  On 6th April 2022, the Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) will be ceremoniously opened in Frankfurt .  Located directly in the heart of the main city at the Hauptwache, the museum will present the exhibition “Sven Väth – It’s simple to tell what saved us from hell” ; a collaboration between close friends Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger. “There is no better opening exhibition for MOMEM, because Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger have each, in their own way, taken electronic music culture from Frankfurt to the world.” - said  Alex Azary , director of  MOMEM. The records, photographs, flyers, films, sounds, and Väth’s private art collection serve as the hub and starting point for this journey through electronic music culture ’s shared past since the late 1980s. The opening of the MOMEM , which is dedicated to the documentation, processing and switching of this cultural history of electronic music , will be celebrated naturally with a large public party with Sven Väth on 08.04.2021.  The multimedia platform “Platform081” was created with the aim of being a link for all young creative people who want to contribute their art to the development of culture during the pandemic.  This platform is a place to meet and create new creative industries in Montenegro.  Pandemia co19 was fatal for the culture, but this platform, through live streams, connected performers with the audience and created space for art to live in times of crisis. So far, they have mostly worked with artists from Montenegro, choosing locations that will complete the experience of the audience and performers and of course to promote Montenegrin tourism.  Platform081 implemented two great events called “Sunset VICE”. Richie Hawtin releases ‘ Time Warps ’, his first dancefloor-centric EP since ‘Minus Orange’, released in 1999.  This is the first release from From Our Minds (FOM1) , a new extension of Hawtin’s Plus 8 label.  In this new release, Hawtin gives us a couple of new club songs, secretly recorded and with a combined duration of more than 30 minutes.  "Time Warps" portrays the blurred and stretched perception of time that has been so characteristic in 2020. A new exhibition called " Electronic " that explores global club culture and the impact of electronic music, is opening at London’s Design Museum  in April 2020. Featuring a soundtrack curated by Laurent Garnier, the exhibition will explore club culture in the UK, Berlin, Detroit, Paris and Chicago, as well as highlighting contributions from artists including Jeff Mills, Ellen Allien, Andreas Gursky and Jean-Michel Jarre. At the Design Museum, techno can be heard over speakers right from the start, and the space’s black walls, blue spotlights, mesh panels and bare scaffolding are clearly intended to evoke the club.
