Cannabis reduces headache in 47.3% and migraine pain in 49.6% of respondents, according to a recent study led by Carrie Cuttler , assistant professor of psychology at the University of Washington. The study, recently published online in the Journal of Pain, is the first to use real-time data on headache and migraine patients using cannabis.  Previous studies have asked patients to recall the effects of cannabis use in the past. There was one clinical trial that suggested cannabis was better than Brufen in relieving headache, but it used nabilon, a synthetic cannabinoid drug.
