Humanitarians who came to ADE on bicycles collected 37 thousand pounds

Amsterdam Dance Event had a humanitarian character this year! A group of humanitarians traveled by bicycle to the capital of the Netherlands in order to collect money for the needy who want to play music, but have no way. Twenty-six artists and workers from the electronic music industry cycled for four days and covered more than 500 kilometers for humanitarian purposes. Through the traditional "ADE Cycle" campaign, humanitarians drove the route from London to Amsterdam to collect money for the "Bridges For Music" and "Choose Love" organizations. The cyclists started last Sunday and arrived right at the opening of the Amsterdam Dance Event on Wednesday. Despite bad weather, rain, faith, tired legs and minor injuries, all twenty-six cyclists completed the route and participated in raising £37,000. Amsterdam Dance Event opened its doors for the 27th edition . More than 1,000 events attract over 400,000 visitors to the Dutch capital by the end of the weekend.   Amsterdam is hosting more than 2,500 DJs, producers, promoters, and all other people from the world of electronic music for the next few days. The first digital edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event

 The 25th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event will take place from 21 to 25 October 2020, for the first time in digital format. This year's program also includes several COVID concerts with mandatory seating and physical distance, as well as intercultural projects called ADE Specials.   This part will be held in Amsterdam in cooperation with the city council. The latest announcement by the Dutch government about the clubs represents another blow to the electronic music industry, says project manager Jan-Willem van de Ven:  " Clubs and music venues form the backbone of Amsterdam's nightlife and are incredibly important in shaping and innovating the city's cultural identity, residents and visitors. Without them, electronic music loses an integral part of its culture and industry, and that is why it needs all the support of the government. Amsterdam Dance Event gears up for 25th edition and returns to Felix Meritis in 2020

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) , the world’s leading conference and festival for electronic music and its associated industries, is gearing up for its 25th anniversary edition which will take place from 21st to 25th October 2020.  As part of the celebration, the organization is taking the ADE Pro conference back to its “home base”, Felix Meritis on the Amsterdam canals.  Between 1999 and 2016, eighteen editions of the ADE conference were hosted at Felix Meritis.  While the venue was closed to undergo major renovations, the organization found a temporary home in DeLaMar Theater near the popular Leidseplein.  “Felix Meritis is one of the most iconic cultural landmarks on the Amsterdam canals. ADE 2018 Announces Second Wave of Artists

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) , the world's largest festival and the most important global business conference for electronic music, announced its second selection of artists today. Among them are Amelie Lens (BE), Axwell / Ingrosso (SE), Broederliefde (NL), CIFIKA (KR), Kiasmos (IS), Oliver Heldens (NL), Ricardo Villalobos (CL) and Sasha (UK). The Amsterdam Dance Event  takes place from the  17th to 21st of October, 2018 . organized by Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event, an initiative of Buma. With seven weeks left to go, ADE, an initiative of Buma, has nearly completed its festival program. From October 17th through October 21st, the organization expects over  2500 artists  in a record-breaking  200 locations , making Amsterdam the epicentre of the global electronic music industry for five straight days.
