Technics has a new entry-level turntable, the SL-100C

Technics announced newly SL-100C with sharpened its audiophile aim. The incoming model strips away the SL-1500C’s internal phono stage and swaps out its Ortofon 2M Red pick-up for an Audio- Technica VM95C to shave €100 from the sticker price. The SL-100C will sell for €899. The SL-100C features both a high-rigidity cabinet and a high-damping insulator to help minimize vibrations. Technic’s in-house developments in platter design are carried over with a two-layer structure combining deadened rubber and aluminum . Speaking about the launch, Technics product manager Frank Balzuweit said:  “The huge success of the SL-1500C, offering a fully-featured package for the dedicated hi-fi enthusiast, with all the core Technics turntable technologies, has shown we have hit the mark within a popular and competitive turntable class. New DJ headphones - DJ1200 by Technics

Technics has launched a new series of headphones specializing in DJ gadgets and production, the EAH-DJ1200. The previous RP-DJ1200 model , sold more than 500,000 units since 1996 when it came out - the new model should cater more to modern DJing. It has more advanced features, design and improved sound quality. With the classic way of listening to music, there is now the option of precise sound monitoring especially made for occasions where the volume is enhanced such as clubs, festivals and the like. Technics Announces Black SL-1200GR!

In a sleek, black colored, the latest SL-1200GR model will appear, team leader, Technics Director Michiko Ogawa, says: "Our goal was to expand our top range for audio enthusiasts as well as professional DJs."
