Pop star Miley Cyrus and Dj Calvin Harris at the “Sunny Hill” festival in Pristina



In the heart of Gemia Park, known as the “lungs of Pristina”, will be held the second edition of Sunny HIll Festival from 2 to 4 August 2019, featuring American pop artist Miley Cyrus, Scottish Dj Calvin Harris, American-Albanian rapper Gashi as well as local artists from Kosovo. 




Miley Cyrus will perform at the opening of the festival on August 2, and DJ Calvin Harris will close this festival on August 4.

The founder of this festival is Dukadjin Lipe, the father of pop artist Dua Lipe from Kosovo, who performed at this event last year with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix (my favorite one, but I failed to sneak at his performance at first edition of Sunny hill fest :)) and US-Albanian artist Action Bronson.
"Kosovo is always presented and linked to a problematic topic, such as war, corruption and other negativities. Our goal is to bring to the youth of Kosovo the world music trends and artists with this festival and to show the world that Kosovo has a very young generation, hyperactive, in need for music and joy, who have a pro-European view and know how to have fun. ” - added Dukagjini.


The Sunny Hill Festival has become the biggest music event in Kosovo, hosting about 50,000 people during the three nights of the festival at Grmia Park last year. This event is organized for humanitarian purposes, focused on reducing poverty and injustice in Kosovo.

Tillt Radio Record Store, Prishtina, Kosovo

Tillt Radio  is a new record store in Prishtina, opened 1 year ago. Located at BOHO in Prishtina's square, Tillt Radio record store is a very  warm place  where you can go  hang out , dig the crates for  vinyls  and enjoy  listening to music.  A while ago, I took a trip to Prishtina to meet a friend and surprise her with a vinyl from her favorite label, Klockworks I got for her birthday. That day was all about music and vinyls so, while i was there, i decided to go and visit Tillt Radio record store. I was very happy and excited for visiting the first record store in my life . I've bought vinyls before, from online record stores, but crate digging for vinyls, is a different feeling. There's nothing like crate digging! We needed a record store like Tillt Radio. I went there around 4 PM. I met Strella. He informed me about his record store and the genres he provides. There were various genres from pop, rock, blues to old electronic music.
